The brief
Create a distinctive neighbourhood cafe and bar with an identity strong enough to carry the venue from daytime service into the evening.
The challenge
The space needed to support different moods and patterns of use without feeling divided or losing the warmth expected of a local destination.
Design response
Sapphirus is shaped through contrast: deep blue surfaces bring intimacy, while reflective stone and warm timber hold the room in balance. Layered lighting shifts the atmosphere from daytime cafe to evening bar without losing its sense of welcome.
The spatial language makes every arrival feel considered. Material transitions, framed views and light are composed to give the venue a distinctive identity that guests remember and share.

A confident, flexible hospitality setting with a memorable sapphire identity and an atmosphere that evolves naturally throughout the day.
